Camp Adventure Academy

Further education, trainings & more

Welcome to Camp Adventure Academy

Use the know-how and experience of our trainers to train your employees and thus improve the quality of your programs. Of course, this is only possible if the participants are adequately addressed and different wishes and needs (e.g. different age groups) as well as safety aspects are taken into account.
As a result of their success, our professional coaches now offer their services through various institutes and personnel agencies, but are also happy to train your employees - e.g. with regard to dealing with children, the decision-makers within the family.

Our Offer of further Education & Trainings

Option 1: Camp Adventure Adventure Sports Instructor (ADVI)

This is the ultimate course for anyone who wants to instruct others in these sports on a non-professional level. It is best suited for camps or tourist organisations that want to train their staff so that they in turn can assist guests in the practice of the sports.

Safety issues are also at the heart of the course, as well as basic technical skills and group dynamics. Learning-by-doing is the key to this adventure sports course. In the second half of the last day there is a test to test your own and newly learned skills.

Day 1

Canoeing/Kayaking

Learn the most important rowing strokes in canoeing/kayaking in the lake or river. The participants learn to rescue the canoe from the water and to store it correctly. Games with the canoe are followed by an introduction to life-saving measures by other people wearing life jackets.

Day 2

Archery

After this day, the participants will know how to repair arrows and bows. Basic shooting skills will be taught and discussed. The participant will be able to teach this sport without any problems.

Day 3

Rope Climbing

On this day the participants get to know the first structures of standard rope courses and are enabled to initiate appropriate activities for children and adults. Later they will learn how to set up this rope course themselves.

Day 4 & 5

High-Ropes Course

Today the program includes learning the first knots and safety techniques as well as the use of special equipment to secure other climbers.

Furthermore, you will learn how to climb a climbing wall and how to secure participants of all ages and abilities with the help of the so-called Top Rope System. Psychological aspects of the participants are particularly relevant for climbing activities and are therefore also the subject of these training days.

Option 2: Camp Adventure Archery Safety Instructor® (ASI)

The Camp Adventure Archery Safety Instructor® is capable of using and operating the entire archery facility. From basic safety instructions to simple methods of repairing arrows and bows, the participant can ensure the proper functioning of the facility. The training includes the development of an archery practice lesson as well as the learning of individual games and practical shooting skills. This course lasts 12 hours.

Option 3: Camp Adventure Mobile high ropes course specialist (MHRCS)

Only for experienced climbing specialists! In this course you will learn everything about setting up a mobile high ropes course in the great outdoors. Together with our specialists the participant will be able to construct different elements of the course. In addition, all safety precautions and measures will be taught. In addition, different material will be taught and different climbing techniques will be learned.

After this training the participants are qualified to set up and supervise one or more mobile rope installations, such as Giant Swing and Flying Fox. Some basic knowledge is required for this course. If this is not the case, another course must be taken in advance to learn the relevant basics (e.g. our high ropes course assistant course).
