Welcome to Regen – Your Adventure in the Bavarian Forest!
The location in the Bavarian Forest near Regen combines impressive natural surroundings with a wide range of sports and outdoor opportunities. The camp is spread across two areas: the campsite directly by the river and the modern sports complex of the Bavarian State Sports Association (BLSV). This combination creates ideal conditions for a varied summer camp filled with physical activity, nature experiences, and shared group activities.
Forests, mountains, and river landscapes shape the environment around the camp and create a unique setting for outdoor adventures. At the same time, the BLSV sports complex offers numerous sports fields and training facilities that can be used flexibly for different programs. This creates a unique blend of nature camp and sports camp where children and teens quickly feel at home, make new friendships, and collect unforgettable camp memories.
Stay Right in the Heart of Nature!
At our international Leadership Camp in the Bavarian Forest, participants stay at our Adventure Camp located directly on the campsite by the river. When registering, you can choose between two different types of accommodation: classic camp tents or comfortable tiny houses. All accommodations are located close to the sanitary facilities, which are of course separated for boys and girls. Each group is supervised by dedicated counselors who stay nearby and are available around the clock.
Tents – Adventure Camp Campsite
Our tent village consists of spacious tents with six to seven sleeping places. The tents create a true outdoor camp atmosphere right in the middle of nature. With your sleeping bag and sleeping mat, you can make yourselves comfortable and enjoy the classic summer camp experience together with your group.
Tiny Houses – Adventure Camp Campsite
If you prefer a bit more comfort, you can stay in one of our modern tiny houses on the campsite. These cozy wooden houses offer real beds for 4–8 participants and provide a warm and welcoming camp atmosphere while still keeping you close to nature.
For overnight stays, please bring a pillow, bedsheet, and sleeping bag. Alternatively, bed linen can easily be booked as an add-on. Accommodation in a tiny house is available for an additional fee.
Meals
We make sure everyone is well taken care of: all meals are freshly prepared every day – without instant soups or convenience products. In the morning, you can enjoy a rich breakfast with fresh bread rolls, cold cuts, fruit, and a variety of cereals. Juice and tea are also available.
Throughout the day, drinking water – still or sparkling – is available at all times, as well as fresh fruit for a quick snack. Lunch and dinner are usually served as warm meals, with occasional lighter meals such as bread-based dinners. Fresh salads from the buffet are available with every meal.
Vegetarian meals are naturally available, and we are happy to accommodate allergies or special dietary requirements after prior consultation.

At the Leadership Camp, you are supported by experienced counselors who guide you through the program and accompany your group throughout the camp. They provide structure, support your development, and encourage you to take on responsibility within the group. Whether during workshops, outdoor challenges, or everyday camp life, the team is always there to support you, answer questions, and help you grow through new experiences.
One of the most special aspects of the Leadership Camp is the international environment. Our counselors come from different countries and bring the camp spirit to life every day. English therefore becomes the natural language of communication in many situations – during activities, team challenges, workshops, and group discussions. This allows you to strengthen your language skills while actively participating in the program and working together with an international group.
With a high staff-to-participant ratio, the team can provide individual guidance and meaningful feedback. Our counselors are carefully selected, thoroughly trained, and work according to our safeguarding and supervision concept. Of course, they all hold a current extended certificate of good conduct.
The Leadership Camp goes far beyond a traditional holiday program. It is designed for teenagers aged 15 to 17 who want to challenge themselves and grow. Through outdoor challenges, leadership workshops, and teamwork tasks, you strengthen important life skills such as resilience, communication, decision-making, and responsibility. Participants learn by doing – stepping out of their comfort zone, supporting their team, and reflecting on their experiences together.
Living and working together in an international group encourages openness, mutual respect, and cultural awareness. At the same time, you spend a lot of time outdoors in the beautiful nature of the Bavarian Forest, experience a conscious digital detox, and build strong connections with your team. The friendships and personal growth you take home from this experience often last far beyond the summer.
My son had a lot of fun and felt very comfortable. The counselors and the program were great!
