Bath – Summer Camp at the University of Bath

Our location in Bath is on the prestigious campus of the University of Bath and offers the perfect environment for an international summer camp. The spacious grounds feature modern sports facilities, indoor facilities and generous green spaces – ideal for a wide range of activities, collaborative learning and a genuine campus atmosphere in a safe environment of a University Campus.

Thanks to its location in one of England's most beautiful university cities, this location combines language, travel, culture and community in a special way. From the campus, we explore the historic city of Bath and lively city centre. The international atmosphere on campus creates the perfect conditions for making new friends and using English naturally in everyday life – exactly what makes an international youth camp so special.

London – Your city highlight at the end of your trip to England

After your days in Bath, you will continue on to London. Three intense days full of London highlights await you: sightseeing, shopping and iconic places such as Tower Bridge, Covent Garden, Camden Market and Oxford Street. Thanks to the superb location of our accommodation, we can be flexible in our travels, discover different neighbourhoods and experience London up close – on foot and, of course, on the world-famous London Underground.

Bath – Your home on a prestigious university campus

In Bath, you will stay in comfortable single rooms – just like the students of the University do. The modern accommodation is clearly laid out and offers communal areas for socialising, leisure activities and a real campus feeling. The green, spacious grounds are located above the city, making it easy to get to classes, sports facilities and all camp activities. Our experienced team members live close to your room and are there for you throughout the day.

Meals: Full board with breakfast, two hot meals per day, fresh fruit available and an afternoon snack.

London – Central accommodation & urban hostel experience

In London, you will stay in a modern hostel with shared rooms. The central location is ideal for exploring the city together. Your team of staff will be there with you, ensuring that sightseeing, leisure and cultural activities run smoothly and are well organised.
Meals: Half board with breakfast and dinner at the hostel or nearby restaurants. Lunch will be flexible, taking place at easily accessible, inexpensive spots (pocket money required for this).

At the English and Adventure Camp Bath, you can expect a varied mix of exercise, creativity, action and an international campus atmosphere every day. The day starts with energising morning activities that get you going and put you in the right frame of mind for the day ahead – sometimes sporty, sometimes more relaxed, always tailored to the group.

After breakfast, your main activity block begins. Here you have various options and can decide for yourself what suits you best:

• You can book an interactive English language course (optionally with Toefl), which focuses on speaking and application.In the TOEFL course, you will complete a test and receive a grade based on Listening, reading and Grammer topics.
• Alternatively, you can choose another add-on profile.
• Or you can remain flexible and decide each day from a wide range of activities that our team puts together for you on a daily basis.

After lunch and a short break, the varied afternoon programme continues. You can look forward to sports activities, creative workshops and group activities that focus on fun, exercise and team spirit.

In the evening, the Evening Activity provides special camp moments. Whether team games, shows or surprise programmes – here you can end the day together.
For stays of several weeks, a joint trip to Bath is something to look forward to at the weekend. You will explore the city, discover historical highlights and experience the special atmosphere of this lively university town.

After your time in Bath, you will continue your adventures at camp in London. There you will spend three exciting days in one of Europe's most thrilling cities. Together with your group, you will discover famous sights and experience a varied mix of culture, sightseeing and city life.

English Classic – Learning by Living

Our English Classic courses take place in small, manageable learning groups and are led by qualified language teachers who tailor their teaching to your individual language level. At the beginning, you will take a short placement test so that you can learn at your specific level. This is followed by varied lessons with lots of speaking, games, interactive exercises and practical everyday situations.
With 20 lessons per week, you will build your vocabulary, grammar and pronunciation in a targeted manner – without the traditional school atmosphere, but with fun, movement and real conversations. English will naturally become part of your everyday life at camp. The programme is complemented by a profile-specific activity in London, where you will apply your English skills directly in a real-life environment. This will boost your confidence and make you want to speak even more English.

English TOEFL® – the language certificate for the next level

If you want more than our English Classic course, the two-week TOEFL® course is the ideal upgrade. It can only be booked in combination with the two-week Classic course and builds specifically on the content taught there. This allows you to prepare for the internationally recognised language test in a structured manner – including a certificate in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). There is no such thing as failing: your result clearly shows your current language level.

In addition to the regular lessons, you will receive 10 extra hours of intensive exam preparation focusing on grammar, reading and listening comprehension, as well as a complete test simulation. This will ensure that you go into the exam feeling confident, relaxed and well prepared.

Reliable support – from day one

Throughout the camp, you will be supported by a dedicated, pedagogically trained team that is there for you throughout the day. Each participant is assigned a designated teamer who provides support, listens and helps with any questions or concerns. This quickly builds trust and a feeling of security in everyday camp life.
Our team is international and actively participates in everyday camp life. You will encounter English naturally – in conversations, during activities or when interacting with others. Without coercion or pressure, but with ease, the language will become part of your daily experience.

With a staff-to-child ratio of 1:7 to 1:10, we ensure that each child is noticed and supported individually. All team members are specially trained for Camp Adventure, provide a current certificate of good conduct and work according to our binding protection and care concept. This allows us to create a safe environment in which you can develop freely.
Our camps have an impact that goes far beyond the programme itself. You develop independence, learn to take responsibility and gain confidence in your own abilities. Living together in an international community strengthens social skills, promotes tolerance and opens up new perspectives. Friendships are formed that often last a lifetime – as does a more conscious approach to nature, the environment and community.
