Accommodation
You’ll be staying in shared rooms with other campers – the perfect way to make new friends quickly and experience a real camp atmosphere. Showers and toilets are located on each floor. As well as the rooms, there are various communal areas and a large outdoor space for playing, relaxing and taking part in group activities.
Our team members live right next to you and are always on hand, so you’ll always have a designated point of contact on site.
Meals
During the English camp, you’ll be provided with a varied full-board programme. The day begins with a generous breakfast buffet; at lunchtime, you’ll receive a packed lunch to take with you, and in the evening, a hot dinner buffet with a variety of dishes awaits you.
Between meals, water and fresh fruit are available free of charge at all times. We will, of course, cater for any special dietary requirements or food allergies by prior arrangement.
At the English camp in Mölln, you can look forward to a week full of fun, exercise and that international camp atmosphere – and you’ll improve your English along the way. Instead of traditional classroom lessons, you’ll immerse yourself in the language through play. Our English-speaking team members speak English with you all day long, so you’ll automatically pick up new words and phrases in everyday situations and become increasingly confident in speaking.
If you’d like, you can start the day actively with Morning Sports. You can kick off the day with yoga, a short jog or other fitness exercises, for example. Participation is, of course, voluntary – anyone who’d rather sleep in a bit longer can simply stay in bed.
In the morning, our English Classic courses take place in small, manageable groups – always led by qualified language teachers who’ll meet you at your current level. To begin with, you’ll take a short placement test so that you can learn at exactly the right level for you. Then we get straight down to business: lots of speaking, playing games together, interactive activities and real-life situations.
Over a total of 20 teaching units, you’ll consolidate and expand your vocabulary, grammar and pronunciation – without any of that school-like atmosphere, but with fun, exercise and real conversations.
After lunch and a short siesta, the programme continues with a variety of activities. Now it’s time for team challenges, sports games and creative workshops. You can look forward, for example, to team-building challenges, classic games such as Capture the Flag or ‘Pimp my Teamer’, creative arts and crafts like making bracelets or jewellery, painting and craft projects, as well as many other group activities. A particular highlight is the guided pedal boat tour, where you and your group explore the lake landscape around Mölln from the water. Small tournaments, group games and spontaneous outdoor games also ensure there’s always something new to do in everyday camp life.
In the evening, the whole camp comes together. Through group games, small shows or relaxed get-togethers with your group, you’ll round off the day and experience those typical camp moments that often stay with you for a long time. This is how daily camp life in Mölln unfolds – full of activity, camaraderie and real-life English.
Well looked after – from the first to the last day of camp
During the English camp in Mölln, you’ll be looked after round the clock by our experienced camp team. Our team members come from different countries and bring their language, culture and personality to the camp. Many of them are native speakers, so English becomes a natural part of everyday camp life – whether through games, activities, sport or simply chatting with one another.
Our camp leaders are always there for you and will support you with any questions or challenges you face at camp. Every camper has designated points of contact within the team who are available at all times. Our staff-to-camper ratio is between 1:5 and 1:9.
All team members are carefully selected, specially trained for our camps, hold a valid certificate of good conduct and work in accordance with our safety policy. This ensures that you can feel safe and well looked after at all times during your stay at the camp.
But camp isn’t just about action and adventure; it’s also about personal experiences. Our team members support you not only during activities but also in everyday life – for example, during the evening debrief or when it’s time to wind down. At the same time, we give you the space to try new things, overcome challenges and grow together as a group. Small hurdles are sometimes part of the experience – just as much as finding solutions together, supporting one another and enjoying many moments of success.
Step by step, this helps you develop new skills, build self-confidence and form genuine friendships. Many campers take home not only wonderful memories from the camp, but also the feeling of having surpassed their own expectations.
At our camp, the motto is: No drugs, no alcohol – just fun! Our digital detox approach ensures that mobile phones are only used at specific times. We deliberately spend most of the day together – enjoying activities, conversations and genuine camp moments.
