Accommodation
During your stay, you will live in the circular holiday village of Hachen, which is located directly on the camp grounds. You will share a cosy two-storey house with six to eight other children and teenagers. Each house has its own common areas and bathrooms, offering plenty of space to relax, play and spend time with your group.
The accommodation is clearly structured and located just a few steps from the sports facilities, activity areas and community spaces. Our counsellors live nearby and are always there for you – day and night.
Meals
You will enjoy a balanced and varied full-board meal plan. Each day includes three meals as well as snacks and drinks throughout the day. We focus on balanced dishes, enough energy for an active camp day and, of course, special dietary needs such as vegetarian meals, allergies or food intolerances.
At the Language Camp Hachen, you can look forward to a varied programme combining language lessons, sports and shared activities. The day starts with optional Morning Sports: relaxed games, small individual or group challenges or light warm-ups that wake you up and get you into a great camp mood.
Language classes take place in the morning. Lessons are active, practical and led by native-speaking counsellors – so you learn quickly and have fun at the same time.
In the afternoon, you can choose from a wide range of activities and decide what you would like to try. In addition to classic sports like football, basketball or beach volleyball, you can also discover new experiences – for example Laser biathlon or trying out the mountain bike course.
When the weather is nice, we spend a lot of time outdoors and make the most of the nearby lake. You can try stand-up paddling, go canoeing or kayaking, or simply enjoy the summer together with your group. A shared barbecue evening is, of course, one of the highlights of camp life.
Even in bad weather, the programme remains exciting. We use the large sports hall with its indoor climbing wall, enjoy swimming in our on-site pool or spend time together at the bowling alley.
For those who love adventure and teamwork, we offer exciting outdoor activities such as climbing, archery, geocaching, bridge building or a team challenge course. Creative minds can enjoy arts and crafts, banner painting, circus skills or creative writing.
In the evening, the whole camp comes together for shared activities. Whether it is a campfire, night walk, themed party, disco or international sports tournament – this is where friendships and memories are created that last far beyond camp.

English Classic
Our English Classic courses take place in small, manageable groups and are led by our language teachers who respond to your individual language level. At the beginning, you will complete a short placement test so you can learn at the right level. After that, lessons begin with plenty of speaking, games, interactive exercises and real-life situations.
With 20 lessons per week, you will build vocabulary, grammar and pronunciation step by step – without a traditional classroom atmosphere, but with fun, movement and real conversations. English becomes a natural part of your daily camp life, and you gain confidence in speaking day by day.
You can immediately apply what you learn in everyday camp life – during sports, shared activities and conversations with children and teenagers from different countries. This is how English becomes a natural part of your holidays.
English TOEFL
If you want more than our English Classic course, the two-week TOEFL® course is the ideal upgrade. It can only be booked in combination with the two-week Classic course and builds directly on its content. This way, you prepare in a structured way for the internationally recognised language test – including a certificate based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
There is no failing: Your result clearly shows your current language level.
In addition to regular lessons, you will receive 10 extra hours of intensive exam preparation focusing on grammar, reading and listening comprehension as well as a full test simulation. This ensures that you enter the exam confident, relaxed and well prepared – and return home from your camp in Hachen with a valuable language certificate.
German Classic
Our German Classic course is designed for international children and teenagers who want to improve their German skills and feel more confident in everyday situations. In small groups and with experienced language teachers, you will learn step by step how to express yourself clearly and actively use the German language.
At the beginning of camp, you will take a short placement test so you can join a group that matches your level. Lessons focus especially on speaking and understanding – with games, dialogues and practical exercises that help you use German in everyday situations.
With 20 lessons per week, you will improve your vocabulary, grammar and pronunciation in a targeted way. At the same time, there is plenty of time left for sports, excursions and shared activities. This allows you to learn German in a relaxed environment and quickly notice how your confidence grows day by day.
Our counsellors come from different countries and are there for you around the clock – with experience, responsibility and dedication. Every camper has dedicated contact persons who are always available. Our staff-to-camper ratio ranges from 1:5 to 1:9 depending on the age group. All counsellors are carefully selected, specially trained for our camps, provide background checks and work according to our safeguarding policies.
At camp, it is not only about fun and adventure, but also about gaining new experiences and becoming more independent. We provide clear structure, a reliable environment and a strong sense of community where you feel safe and well supported.
In all our camps, the rule is simple: No drugs, no alcohol – just fun.
Our digital detox approach also ensures that mobile phones are only available at scheduled times. The rest of the day belongs to camp life and your new friends.
