You can drop off and pick up your child at the following times:

• Arrival: SUNDAY between 2:00 and 5:30 PM

• Departure: SATURDAY between 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM

If you're unable to bring or pick up your child at the scheduled times, please send us a message – we’ll do our best to arrange an alternative time with you.

In exceptional cases such as delays, illness, or other emergencies, we are available 24/7 on arrival and departure days. Please use the emergency number only for urgent matters – it is not active outside of camp days.

During the week, you can reach our office between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM. If we don’t answer right away, feel free to leave a message.

Phone Availability:
There are no landlines at the camp. If you’d like to speak with your child, please make sure they bring a mobile phone with international roaming or a foreign SIM card. Wi-Fi is usually not available at our camps in Germany, so be sure to choose a suitable data plan.

Electronics Policy at Camp:
All phones and smartwatches are collected upon arrival to help kids fully unplug and relax. If your child becomes ill or there are any issues, we’ll contact you immediately. No news means everything is fine.

There is a short window for device use during siesta time. On excursion days, devices may be kept a bit longer.

For urgent matters, please call our emergency number.

Since phone calls home can sometimes trigger homesickness, we generally recommend sending an email instead. That’s why we offer an email service that allows you to send your child one message per day. We usually print these out in the morning and hand them to the children shortly afterward. Please do not include attachments such as images, videos, or comics – we are unable to print or share those with the kids.

This is a one-way service – your child won’t be able to reply, but they’ll definitely enjoy receiving a little message from home.

If you’re missing your child and would like a call during siesta time, simply email the camp. The email address for your specific camp location is also the best way to reach our on-site team with any organizational questions.

Emails:
Please note that it takes about 24 hours for us to print, sort, and deliver emails. If you send your message in the morning, it will usually be handed out the next day. Emails are always distributed during Siesta time.

Letters and Postcards:
Keep in mind that letters and postcards can take several days to arrive.
Important: Make sure to include your child’s full name and the camp date in the address line so we can correctly assign the mail.
Please send letters early – ideally one week before the camp starts. Unfortunately, we cannot process packages or returns.

If your child is travelling with us to a country other than their home country, we strongly recommend that you take out travel insurance to cover medical repatriation in the event of an accident or serious illness. If your child does not yet have travel insurance, you can book our travel insurance package, which includes international health insurance, liability insurance, accident insurance and assistance insurance. Please note that non-EU insurance policies are usually not accepted by hospitals and doctors, who will require payment in cash. Therefore, please always take out EU health insurance.

We would like to point out that participants without adequate international insurance cover must be prepared to pay any medical or hospital bills themselves. Camp Adventure will not cover these costs. For this purpose, a security deposit of approximately £500 in cash or a credit card with sufficient cover should be brought along.Detailed information about our travel insurance package can be found here.

We collect all medication at check-in and administer it to your child as needed or according to the instructions provided. All medication should be placed in a sealed bag labeled with your child’s name. Please also include a brief description of the treatment required and clear dosage instructions.

Important medication – such as asthma inhalers – must be brought in sufficient quantity, as the same formulations may not be available abroad, and obtaining new prescriptions often requires a prior visit to a doctor.

We also ask for details about your child’s medical and social needs in a questionnaire, which you’ll receive via email titled “Final Travel Information.”

For legal reasons, out of conviction and in cooperation with the organisation Keine Macht den Drogen (No Power to Drugs), all camp participants are strictly prohibited from possessing or consuming drugs of any kind, including cigarettes, vapes and alcoholic beverages. Violation of this rule will result in exclusion from the camp. In this case, the legal guardians will bear the costs incurred.
We are convinced that our varied activities and the great camp atmosphere offer much better alternatives anyway!
We also attach great importance to respectful interaction. Discrimination, bullying or violence have no place here. Our goal is to ensure that all campers, regardless of age or origin, have a happy, relaxed and safe time.

We are proud to have such a diverse and international team at our camps! Our counsellors bring valuable experience from their travels and previous camps, contributing significantly to the unique Camp Adventure experience.
Together with our participants from many different countries, they create a cosmopolitan community where different cultures can be discovered and friendships with children and young people from all over the world can be formed.
The camp languages are English and German – depending on the location, the local language of the respective camp may also be used.

We know how valuable it is to capture unforgettable memories! That's why we take as many photos as possible during the camps. However, our focus is on providing the children with an eventful time filled with exciting activities. Please understand that we cannot guarantee that every child will be captured in a photo.

Your child is welcome to bring a digital camera. It does not need to be handed in at check-in, but this is at your own risk.

As the internet connection on site is not always ideal, we are unable to share all photos on social media or our website during the camp. From autumn onwards, you will find all the photos on our website, where you can relive the best moments.
