Note: Please pack max. 1 large piece of luggage (20 kg) – you’ll need to carry it yourself during transfers. For self drop-off/pick-up, you can instead bring a box like the Ikea “Samla” (79×57×43 cm / 130 l), which fits perfectly under the tent podium.

Shuttle from/to the airport
Our arrival and departure shuttles to and from the camp are always accompanied by our trained team. You can easily recognise our Teamers: they wear brown CAMP ADVENTURE T-shirts, a red lanyard with a name tag or hold a clearly visible CAMP ADVENTURE sign in their hands. Depending on the traffic situation, we use taxis, coaches or occasionally public transport such as trains for transport to the holiday camp.
Please consider our pick up times for Germany /Spain (arrival/departure of the flight has to be in this timeframe):
Airport Munich
Arrival: 10am – 3pm
McDonald's: 3pm
Departure: noon – 4pm
McDonald's: 10am
Accompanied airport shuttle: Pick-up & drop-off directly at the terminal
Our team members will meet your child on the day of arrival directly behind the baggage claim area. Upon departure, we will assist with check-in and accompany your child to the security checkpoint.
So that we can pick up or check in your child on time and safely, we need your exact flight details. We will collect these approximately six weeks before the start of camp using the transfer form that you will receive with the email ‘Final payment and last-minute information’.
If you have booked the airline's UM service, you will be asked for a contact person. We will let you know the appropriate name.
Jan-Albert Vieth, Camp Adventure.
Bahrenfelder Steindamm 22, 22761 Hamburg
Telephone: +49 40 8080 576 11
Passport/ID no. L1V50X531
All members of our airport team have written permission from Jan to pick up children. Even if Jan himself is not at the airport, they are authorised to hand over the children.
UM children (unaccompanied minors) will be handed over to the airline's cabin crew immediately after check-in.
Central meeting point at the airport – shuttle departure/arrival
Please be at the meeting point at the agreed time. Our Teamers will arrive on time, but not before. If, in exceptional cases, there is a short delay, we ask for your understanding – this is usually due to a previous assignment.
Our central meeting point for Munich Airport is the McDonald's in the Airport Center between Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. No ticket or security check is required to get there.
Please note! Food and drinks on the shuttle: On arrival, give your child pocket money or snacks/drinks as needed. On departure, we leave after breakfast; for longer trips, we provide lunch bags. If your child travels far, make sure they have money for extra food.
Shuttle from/to the train station
All our camp shuttles are accompanied by our trained team. Our teamers are easily recognisable – either by a red lanyard with a name tag, a brown CAMP ADVENTURE T-shirt or a clearly visible CAMP ADVENTURE sign. Depending on the situation, we use buses, taxis or trains for transport.
Please consider our pick up times (arrival/departure of the train has to be in this interval):

Shuttle service directly at the platform
If you have chosen our track shuttle, we will pick up your child directly at the platform. On the return journey, we will take them to the correct train door.
We need your child's train details approximately 6 weeks in advance via our transfer questionnaire. You will receive this with the email ‘Final payment request and final travel information’.
Train arrival time: 1:30 pm – 3:30 p.m.
Train departure time: 10 a.m. - 12 noon
Please note! Food and drinks on the shuttle: On arrival, give your child pocket money or snacks/drinks as needed. On departure, we leave after breakfast; for longer trips, we provide lunch bags. If your child travels far, make sure they have money for extra food.
If you have booked a place in the tent or in one of the tiny houses, you will be accommodated at the Adventure Camp on the campsite:
Address: Badstraße 18, 94209 Regen
Tip: Enter ‘Camp Adventure Bavaria’ in Google Maps.
If you are staying at the BLSV sports camp, please check in there as well:
Address: Raithmühle 2, 94209 Regen
Tip: Enter BLSV Sport-Camp Regen in Google Maps
Most parents bring their children to the camp themselves. This gives them a chance to get to know our team and the location. You can drop off and pick up your child at the camp at the following times:
Arrival: Sunday 4–6 p.m.
Departure: Saturday 10 a.m.–12 noon
Please note that our camp in Regen consists of two locations, the BLSV Sportcamp and the Adventure Camp.
Both camps are very close to each other and the activities take place together during the day and, depending on the activity, at both locations.
However, when you arrive, it is important that you check in at the location where your child will be staying!
Emergency number
In emergencies or on the day of arrival or departure, we are available 24 hours a day. Please use the emergency number only for truly urgent situations such as delays or medical emergencies. This line is only active during camp hours and should be kept free for serious cases.
Our office is open on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Outside these hours, you can leave a message on our answering machine and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
Office: +49 40 8080 576 00
Emergency: +49 40 8080 576 11
Mobile phone, smartwatch and telephone
Availability during the camp:
As there are no landlines at the camp, your child should have their own mobile phone with them. Please ensure that roaming is activated and, if necessary, that they have an international SIM card. As WiFi is rarely available at the German camps, it is important to have a suitable data plan.
Use of mobile devices:
At the start of camp, we will collect all devices so that all children can switch off digitally. We will of course inform you immediately in the event of any health problems. No call = everything is fine!
Devices may be used briefly during siesta time. We will collect them again at the end of this break. During excursions, devices remain with the children throughout the day.
Emergencies? Please call our 24-hour emergency number.
Emails and post
Since phone calls home can cause homesickness, we generally recommend sending an email instead. That's why we offer an email service that allows you to send your child an email once a day. We usually print these out in the morning and then forward them to your child. Please refrain from sending attachments such as pictures, videos, comics or similar. We cannot print these out or show them to the children. This is a ‘one-way service’. Your child cannot reply to you, but they will certainly be happy to receive a little message from home.
If you miss your child and would like to be called during siesta time, simply send an email to the camp. The camp location's email address is also the best way to contact our team on site directly if you have any organisational questions, for example.

Emails:
Please note that it takes about 24 hours for us to print, sort, and deliver emails. If you send your message in the morning, it will usually be handed out the next day. Emails are always distributed during Siesta time.
Letters and Postcards:
Keep in mind that letters and postcards can take several days to arrive.
Important: Make sure to include your child’s full name and the camp date in the address line so we can correctly assign the mail.
Please send letters early – ideally one week before the camp starts. Unfortunately, we cannot process packages or returns.
You’ll find the camp addresses listed above under the section “Address.”
For the journey/check-in at the camp:
Please pack documents, medication and pocket money in a sealable bag labelled with your child's name and the camp they are travelling to. We will collect these at check-in and keep them safe for your child. We do NOT require a vaccination certificate or swimming certificate.

Tips and tricks
- Please label your laundry/clothing, as several campers often have similar items with them and this is the only way to identify lost items.
- We recommend a pillowcase/cloth bag for storing dirty laundry – damp laundry can stain plastic bags.
- It is helpful to pack clean clothes in different coloured bags so that you can quickly find your underwear, for example, without having to search through all your clothes.
- Please do not bring any technical devices or similar items or valuables worth more than 500€. We accept no liability for these items.
- Pocket money: We recommend approx. 20€ per week for camps in Germany. In England, Spain and for trips by plane, 50€ per week. For older children (15-17 years), max. 200€. In England, please bring pounds sterling or a prepaid credit card.
Travel insurance
If your child is travelling with us to a country other than their home country, we strongly recommend that you take out travel insurance to cover medical repatriation in the event of an accident or serious illness. If your child does not yet have travel insurance, you can book our travel insurance package, which includes international health insurance, liability insurance, accident insurance and assistance insurance. Please note that non-EU insurance policies are usually not accepted by hospitals and doctors, who will require payment in cash. Therefore, please always take out EU health insurance.
We would like to point out that participants without adequate international insurance cover must be prepared to pay any medical or hospital bills themselves. Camp Adventure will not cover these costs. For this purpose, a security deposit of approximately £500 in cash or a credit card with sufficient cover should be brought along.
Detailed information about our travel insurance package can be found here.
Handling medication
We collect all medication at check-in and give it to your child as needed/instructed. All medication should be placed in a sealed bag labelled with your child's name. We also ask you to include a brief description of the treatment required and dosage instructions. Important medications such as asthma inhalers should be brought in sufficient quantities, as they may not contain exactly the same substances abroad and a prior visit to the doctor may be necessary for new prescriptions.
We also ask for all details about your child's medical and social needs in a questionnaire. We will send this to you in the ‘Final Travel Information’ email.
Homesickness
First, the good news: Homesickness is completely normal and part of growing up! Our Teamers are very familiar with this issue and will take good care of your child.
If your child is travelling without you for the first time, we recommend our ‘Anti-Homesickness’ guide, which contains some very effective tips!
You can find it as videos on YouTube or as a pdf!
Drugs and social behaviour
For legal reasons, out of conviction and in cooperation with the organisation Keine Macht den Drogen (No Power to Drugs), all camp participants are strictly prohibited from possessing or consuming drugs of any kind, including cigarettes, vapes and alcoholic beverages. Violation of this rule will result in exclusion from the camp. In this case, the legal guardians will bear the costs incurred.
We are convinced that our varied activities and the great camp atmosphere offer much better alternatives anyway!
We also attach great importance to respectful coexistence. Discrimination, bullying or violence have no place here. Our goal is to ensure that all campers, regardless of age or origin, have a happy, relaxed and safe time.
Internationality
We are proud to have such a diverse and international team at our camps! Our counsellors bring valuable experience from their travels and previous camps, contributing significantly to the unique Camp Adventure experience.
Together with our participants from many different countries, they create a cosmopolitan community where different cultures can be discovered and friendships with children and young people from all over the world can be made.
The camp languages are English and German – depending on the location, the local language of the respective camp may also be used.
Pictures
We know how valuable it is to capture unforgettable memories! That's why we take as many photos as possible during the camps. However, our focus is on providing the children with an eventful time filled with exciting activities. Please understand that we cannot guarantee that every child will be captured in a photo.
Your child is welcome to bring a digital camera. It does not need to be handed in at check-in, but this is at your own risk.
As the internet connection on site is not always ideal, we are unable to share all photos on social media or our website during the camp. From autumn onwards, you will find all the photos on our website, where you can relive the best moments.
