Effective language learning: TOEFL®, German, and Spanish courses at camp

School during the holidays – every day? Don't worry, our language courses are lots of fun! Depending on the location, you can learn English, German, or Spanish in different variations. Together with our native speakers, you will quickly become more confident in using the language through creative tasks and lots of fun, and you will learn to overcome your natural inhibitions along the way. Right at the start of the camp, you will take a level check to determine which course is right for you. Classes consist of 12 or 20 units of 45 minutes per week and take place in small, age-appropriate groups with a maximum of 12 participants. This leaves you plenty of time to enjoy the varied sports and leisure program – the perfect combination of learning and fun during your vacation!

English Classic

In our Classic courses, you will improve your language skills in a fun and practical way. With interesting, age-appropriate topics and holiday-friendly methods, we bring you closer to the language, even outside the classroom. You will internalize vocabulary through daily use rather than rote memorization. Constant contact with your English-speaking team members will ensure correct pronunciation. We will inspire you to learn English and ensure that you start the new school year feeling stronger and more motivated after the holidays. That's a promise!

English TOEFL®

Bavarian Forest, Sauerland, Amrum, Cornwall + London and Bath University + London

The Test of English as a Foreign Language is the most widely accepted language test for school and academic English worldwide. At the end of the course, after passing the exam, you will receive a certificate confirming your language skills in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference – without any pressure, as you cannot fail. It simply determines your current language level. Such a performance certificate is always useful. With your TOEFL® certificate, you can prove that you have the required English language skills for international exchange programs, for example.

The TOEFL® course is only offered for two-week language courses and includes 10 additional lessons on top of the regular 40 English lessons, which serve to prepare you for the exam with special exercises. These 10 units focus on grammar, text editing, and listening comprehension, and there is a “test run” so that you can go into the exam feeling relaxed.

Don't worry if you're just starting to learn the language. We offer courses at a wide range of levels. Both beginners and advanced learners will be placed in a group that suits their existing knowledge. As with our English Classic courses, the focus is on conversation. Interactive lessons ensure that you expand your vocabulary and consolidate your grammar. You can then test your newly acquired vocabulary right away during leisure activities with your new friends.

At our Spanish summer camp, you can discover the Spanish language in a fun and practical way—whether you are a beginner or an advanced learner. With age-appropriate methods and interactive exercises, you will learn the language naturally and enjoyably through daily use. You will be divided into groups that match your language level so that everyone receives the best possible support.

The highlight: in Barcelona, you can try out your newly acquired Spanish skills right away – whether during our supervised leisure activities or when interacting with locals. This way, you can combine effective learning with unforgettable experiences and discover how much fun the Spanish language is!
